Defending Rules Empty
PostSubject: Defending Rules   Defending Rules EmptyFri Apr 22, 2011 2:57 am

This will give you a general idea on how to defend on Hollow Heart Forums

1) You are not invulnerable
Easily dodging every attack that gets thrown at you is a form of Godmodding and is not tolerated. You can say it was close but still missed, but even that gets old. Come on, even the main characters get hit sometimes...

2) You decide what hits
Now, you may not be able to dodge everything, but you don't have to take hits all the time either. Nothing is absolute and you ultimately get to decide what hits. You need to take into account how the attacker is attacking though. If they are close and fast, then it's less likely that you would be able to get out of the way.

3) Explain your posts
Doing this will help you lengthen your posts while at the same time giving the attacker a good idea as to what you are doing. Be sure to be as specific as possible, other wise you run the risk of making the RP stagnant.
